The "Daten Competence Center e. V." (DCC) is a registered society and therefore a non-profit-making organisation. Our members (at the moment 47 companies) are kitchen and equipment manufacturers as well as software suppliers. For the foreseeable future we have committed ourselves to the following tasks:

• To create and revise standards within the branch of fitted furniture - especially kitchens.
  We take these measures for master data as well as for transaction data, especially order and order response.
• To promote implementation of these standards.
  This includes organising trainings, providing data capture and validation tools, and coordinating the way of data retrieval.
• To win new members (principle of solidarity).
  We recruit new software suppliers and manufacturers of fitted furniture and equipment.

In the long term we want to be a Competence Centre for all matters of e-business for the planning of fitted furniture:

• We optimise standard data management by coordinating also data clearing and data distribution.
• Company-specific consultation on demand with project partners.
• Cooperation with purchasing associations, retailers, the service industry and other adjoining branches.

Besides the managing director the DCC has the following bodies and organs:

• Board
  The board is in charge of strategic decisions of the DCC.
• Annual General Meeting
  At the AGM the members inter alia elect and discharge the board. They also adopt the budget.
• Specialist advisory council "Information Technologies"
  The advisory council gives strategic advice and deals with specialist questions.
• Committee "Data Standards"
  Manufacturers and software suppliers are equally represented in the Committee, which adopts the standards and certifies software systems.
• Working Group "Data Standards"
  The working group is a specialist team for master and transaction data.
